How FXGlobalTransfer Works
A brief introduction
After you register for and fund your OANDA account, you see all the information you need to send money with confidence: who you’re sending the money to, how much you’re paying, how much the recipient is receiving, and all of your past transactions.
Add your recipients
Enter the contact information and banking information for where you are going to send your funds. This information is saved securely so you can use it again and again.
Set up a transfer
After you fund your account and set up your recipient list, you can initiate a transfer at any time. The recipient typically receives your funds in two business days.
You see your total cost before you commit, so you always know exactly how much you’re paying for your transfer.
Send!
As soon as you submit your transfer, it appears in your Transaction History. This log lists all the transactions you've made through FXGlobalTransfer so you can keep track of them from any computer, at any time.
Register for and fund your account
You can register online at any time. By regulation you must send proof of your ID and place of residence to OANDA before we can activate your account. Our thorough screening process is required by regulation, and ensures your safety and ultimately your flexibility to send money in any amount.
You can fund your OANDA account (or subaccounts) by sending funds from your bank in U.S. dollars, euros, British pounds, Japanese yen, Australian dollars, Canadian dollars, or Swiss francs.
