Banks and other funds transfer companies that offer low or no commissions often hide their fees in bad exchange rates. While an exchange rate difference of 0.005 (50 pips) might not seem like a lot, it can really add up, especially if you're sending large amounts!

The following table shows the different amounts you would have to pay to send EUR€750,000 when the exchange rate varies from OANDA's rate by 0.005, 0.01, and 0.04 (50, 100, and 400 pips respectively).
